Requirements
- Adobe Lightroom Classic (Map module available)
- Photos with correct capture time (camera clock should be accurate)
- GPX file with timestamps (exported from AdventureMap)
- Internet connection for Lightroom map tiles

- Select the relevant workout
- Export GPX and save it locally
- If needed, export multiple GPX files for separate sessions
Guide
- Select the photos you want to geotag in Lightroom Classic.
- Switch to the Map module.
- Use Map > Tracklog > Load Tracklog… and open your GPX file.
- Check whether photo capture times overlap with the track timestamps.
- If needed, set an offset: Map > Tracklog > Set Time Zone Offset….
- Run Map > Tracklog > Auto-Tag Selected Photos.
- Validate with spot checks (GPS fields and map pin position).
Troubleshooting
- No matches found: verify time offset and camera clock.
- Wrong positions: wrong GPX file or incorrect offset.
- Import problems: make sure GPX includes timed track points.
Best practices
- Sync camera time with iPhone/Watch before shooting.
- Use continuous GPX recordings when possible.
- For long breaks, geotag in separate track segments.
